Accessibility Statement

Produced by Chi is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all visitors, including people with disabilities. User experience is continuously improved by applying relevant accessibility standards across this visual portfolio.

Effective Date: July 2026 • Targeted Standard: WCAG 2.1 Level AA

01 // Accessibility Commitment

Visual art, commercial editing, and filmmaking should be accessible to everyone. Chi aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

These guidelines detail how to make web content more accessible for people with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities, as well as for all user agents and assistive technologies.

02 // Implemented Features

This website incorporates several features designed to optimize accessibility and user control:

Keyboard Navigation

Full keyboard navigation support, visible focus rings, and dedicated keyboard shortcuts modal (accessible via ? key).

Skip & Motion Controls

Visible "Skip to main content" links for screen reader users and options to skip intro cinematic loading animations.

Semantic Structure

HTML5 semantic layout landmarks (<header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>) and explicit ARIA labels.

Contrast & Typography

Scalable relative typography (rem/dvh) and structured high-contrast dark theme hierarchy.

03 //Known Limitations & Work-in-Progress

While every effort is made to ensure all elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, some legacy or video-heavy media assets are currently undergoing accessibility enhancements:

  • Video Reels & Case Study Transcripts: Selected commercial video clips, ambient hero backgrounds, and motion graphics show reels currently lack embedded closed captions or audio descriptions.
  • Third-Party Embedded Media: Embedded video players (Vimeo/YouTube) rely on native third-party player controls which may vary in screen reader support.
Accommodation Request Option:If you require a text transcript, descriptive breakdown, or alternative format for any video or case study on this website, please reach out directly. Manual transcripts will gladly be provided upon request.
