The Challenge
Automotive technicians already drowning in OEM diagnostic complexity needed a guide for the asTech All-In-One that felt like a walkthrough from a colleague, not a corporate training module. The tool translates dense OEM data into something a technician can actually act on, but that translation had to happen again for video. The unboxing, hardware setup, and tablet interface each required careful sequencing to avoid overwhelming a viewer who might be seeing the device for the first time. Getting the pacing wrong would mean the guide failed at the exact thing the tool was designed to fix: making complexity manageable.
The Solution
Every sequence was filmed in a working workshop with the hardware and tablet UI running in real time. No staged environments, no simulated screens. The camera stayed at the perspective of someone standing at the bench, picking up the device, connecting it, and walking through the interface. The footage worked as both a training tool and a proof of concept: the tool works the way the video shows it working. Voiceover covered each step with enough detail that a technician watching for the first time could follow along at their own bench, and the edit pacing matched how someone actually absorbs a new workflow.
The Outcome
The AIO Guide became Repairify's primary onboarding resource for technicians nationwide. Hardware-related support calls dropped by 50%, and user adoption rates for the AIO platform climbed 25%. The guide shortened the sales cycle too: prospects could watch the full workflow before committing to a purchase, which gave the sales team a concrete asset to hand off after demos.
